Want to get into 2D animations but don’t have access to all the electronics and software? Try creating a flipbook instead!
Here’s what you’ll need to get started:
- Post It Pad (Sticky Note Pad)
Okay, now let’s get started!
Come up with a quick and simple idea.
For a flipbook, the ideas don’t have to be well thought or planned, unless of course, that’s how you want it to be.
Draw your first scene on the very last page of the Post It pad.
You’ll start out drawing the very first scene on the last page of the post it pad. Think of the back being the beginning and the front being the end of the flipbook.
Continue drawing each scene on the next page, working from the back to the front of the Post It pad.
Enjoy your wonderful flipbook!
Now get out there and make all kinds of wacky Post It flipbooks! Check out this post to see what some of my favorite supplies are.
